The Employee Services Center Manager oversees the day-to-day operations and maintenance of all systems within the Scheduling Department. The Employee Services Center Manager is the key support for operations in the Scheduling Department. In addition to assisting client group coordinators with time & attendance, scheduling, labor, and application of CBA rules, the Manager performs duties integral to the day-to-day functioning of the Scheduling Department, including: hiring, training, coaching, task assignment, team building, strategic planning, and performance management. In addition, the Employee Services Center Manager coordinates with IT systems upgrades and feature additions/enhancements while maintaining a strong awareness of the day-to-day operations within the Scheduling Department to ensure that scheduling and time & attendance systems are meeting the evolving needs of both the department and external system users. In addition to scheduling responsibilities, the Employee Services Center Manager will oversee the submission of payroll records, ensure venue employee time sheets are submitted timely and accurately and have oversight of any general employee service concerns or questions. The Employee Services Center Manager will work collaboratively with the venue management, People Practices, and IT teams. This position will report directly into the Director of Guest Services.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5+ years’ management experience, knowledge of events, sports, theatre operations, within an entertainment venue
Demonstrated experience working with scheduling and/or Time & Attendance applications or programming
Previous supervisory experience in Front of House Operations, Food & Beverage, Custodial/Housekeeping and/or Merchandise/Retail operations preferred.
Candidates who have completed a minimum of 60 credit hours of college-level coursework (representing 2 years), or have shown similar self-development through certifications, trade school coursework, etc. are preferred
Analytical approach to issue identification and problem solving
Experience managing union staff preferred
Ability to manage cross functional teams and building relationships is essential.
Excellent communication skills, ability to mobilize key stakeholders, and engage with all levels in the organization
Ability to engage and develop collaborative relationships and influence within team and across functions, even without direct reporting relationship

Must be willing to travel to other locations as needed
Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, have split days off, work weekends and holidays in a 24 X 7 environment
