To support our pursuit, we are seeking a Production Manager who will plan and oversee technical operations for a wide range of sporting events, concerts, family shows and conventions. This individual will plan venue set up configuration to maximize the success of an event for clients while maintaining a safe and pleasant environment for guests and staff.
You will be responsible for:
• Preparing pre-event planning material, including CAD drawings, labor and equipment costs, schedules and other related documents. • Providing a single knowledgeable source for show production personnel to contact regarding technical aspects of their event. • Supervising event production load-in, show and load out. Billing clients for labor, equipment and rented equipment. • Providing game day technical support for both game and auxiliary functions. • Providing maintenance for selected facility electronic systems including sound, timing, scoring, radio re-transmission and signage systems. • Providing A/V support to events and maintaining equipment. • Managing payroll issues for stagehands, and tracking all Production expenses against budget provided by the Director. • Day-to-day supervision of stagehands, up to but not including disciplinary action. Acting as Safety Coordinator for stagehands, including safety meetings.
You are qualified if:
• You possess a High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Requires general office experience and/or knowledge of office principles. • You are proficient in Auto CAD and Microsoft Office suite • You demonstrate ability to multi-task, organize, prioritize, and promptly react to difficult situations in an effective manner. You must be flexible and creative when dealing with last minute requests/changes. • You are effective in working under pressure and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment. • You are skilled in both written and verbal communication. • You demonstrate excellent people skills and the ability to interact effectively in a professional, diplomatic and mature manner with internal and external stakeholders. • You know the internal and external customers' needs and respond accordingly; anticipating customer needs; giving high priority to service and customer satisfaction
