Meydenbauer Center, Bellevue's premiere meeting and conference destination, is looking for a seasoned professional to lead our Food and Beverage organization. This is an exciting opportunity to lead a great in-house catering and concession department. We host conventions, meetings, banquets, and tradeshows for some of the area’s top companies and non-profit organizations. We are looking for a candidate that is an innovator and is skilled in supporting and developing a work culture that allows his/her team to excel personally and professionally.

•Catering for some of the area’s top corporate clients that like restaurant-level creativity and local ingredients. •State-of-the-art kitchen and catering facility with an annual capital budget that allows room for updated equipment and supplies. •Occasional concession services that allow you to be entrepreneurial and create a “pop-up” style menu geared to the demographics of our attendees. •Are their weekends? Certainly, but there are also lots of free weekends. We tend to be slower in the summer and rarely have events on holidays! •No day-to-day outlet or restaurant like a hotel. •We support and fund professional development and R&D. We desire and expect our team members to be lifelong learners and constantly exploring new catering and culinary trends. •You will be a member of the MC Leadership Team and have a key role and responsibility in organizational development.

Meydenbauer Center opened in 1993 as the Greater Seattle area’s second largest convention facility. Meydenbauer Center was built to grow and sustain Bellevue’s economic vitality. The Center includes 54,000 square-feet of event space including 36,000 square foot Center Hall, and nine meeting rooms totaling 12,000 square-feet.
