POSITION DUTIES: Provides on-site assistance and administrative support to the Sales and Convention Service team in the production of events. Duties include conducting facility tours, overseeing set-ups of exhibit halls and meeting rooms, completing work order forms, and sending follow-up correspondence to clients.

•Conducts tours of the facility for groups and other interested parties.
•Coordinates and assists in the planning of meetings, exhibits, special events, etc.
•Performs administrative functions for Convention Services Managers
•Translates client specifications into working documents for the facility staff.
•Oversees the physical set-up of exhibit halls and meeting rooms.
•Coordinates activities involved in the planning and implementation of shows.
•Communicates with City officials and event coordinators for Account Executives.
•Contacts clients on behalf of Convention Services Managers
•Assembles information packets for clients.
•Assists Account Executives with event groups by following up on requests, returning phone calls, and coordinating meetings room arrangements and assignments.
•Implements event related planning, schedules, and client reminder notices.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: EDUCATION: A Bachelor’s degree in business management, facility management, hospitality, marketing, or related field from an accredited college. EXPERIENCE: One year of experience in business management, facility management, hospitality, marketing, or related field.
