Breckenridge Creative Arts (BCA) is seeking a full-time, year-round, dedicated professional for the position of VENUE + EVENT SERVICES MANAGER responsible for coordinating personnel and service requirements for BCA events and supporting activities to achieve the strategic goals of the organization and ongoing usage. In addition, the position manages front of house operations for all BCA managed facilities. With a focus on venue, guest and artist needs and requirements, this position develops and maintains core relationships with partner organizations, production labor providers, temp services, security, cleaning and associated vendors. The Venue + Event Services Manger reports to the Director of Facilities + Technology and works closely with the Director of Events + Production.
(3-5) years of experience in large-scale event planning and production management.
Knowledge of venue/facility systems and usage as well as best practices for Front of House services.
Working knowledge of industry standard technical production practices and equipment usage: including lighting, audio, video, and staging systems.
Exceptional interpersonal, organizational, supervisory, and communication skills.
Ability to work under pressure on concurrent projects with competing timelines.
Strong self-initiative, problem solving skills, time management, and attention to detail.
Proficiency with industry standard software for document creation, spreadsheets, and team communication.
Excellent customer service skills and leadership.
Ability to obtain a Colorado TIPS certification.
Candidate will be required to use personal vehicle on occasion, requiring a reliable vehicle, clean driving record and valid driver’s license.
NOTE: Flexible hours during evenings, weekends, and all holidays is required.
