The Sponsorship Sales Coordinator is responsible for the sale of all Classic Center and Classic Center Cultural Foundation event sponsorships, as well as servicing the benefit needs of each client. The Coordinator also sells internal advertising, including theatre playbill and plasma screen ads. This position also serves as the primary coordinator for The Classic Center’s hockey sky suite marketing initiatives. This position reports directly to the Director of Marketing.
TYPICAL WORK ROUTINE INCLUDES, BUT NOT LIMITED TO:
1.Make routine sponsorship sales calls for upcoming internal events. Will be expected to hit specific sponsorships sales goals for each event.
2.Track marketing department sponsorships for community events (golf tournaments, community relations activities, etc.)
3.Prepare weekly sponsorship report and provide to Executive Director and Director of Marketing.
4.Develop and collect data for monthly board reports. Work with the Director of Marketing to prepare for monthly board reports.
5.Coordinate sales and marketing initiatives to host clients in UGA football and hockey sky suites.
6.Assist the sales department with entertainment events for incoming guests/clients of the facility.
7.Work with Marketing Project Coordinator to produce sales materials for all sponsorships.
The Sponsorship Sales Coordinator shall maintain a professional attitude in the performance of day-to-day activities. Information, written correspondence, and business conversations shall be kept in confidence at all times. The coordinator shall be familiar with all operating policies and procedures of The Classic Center and shall perform such other duties, functions and special projects and responsibilities as assigned by the Director of Marketing.
One to three years of sales or coordinator experience preferred.
Four-year college degree required.
Ability to follow directions with minimum instructions and to work independently when necessary.
Good working knowledge of work processing, spreadsheet, and scheduling computer applications.
Salesforce software knowledge is not required but would be preferred.
